Humorous

I appreciate the great sense of humor placed in this game. Excellent work!

Btw...you really had to have the hotel manager say some sort of sexual remark didn't you? :p

Very nice work

The thing people have to ask themself is... testing an engine is the very basics before adding weapons, adding this, adding that, adding that, blah blah blah.

The first thing to be taken account for is that one thing must be done at a time to ensure the quality and precision of coding or anything in life for that matter. In order for you to run, you need to first learn to walk. It is simple and most basic principles to follow, and once proceeded into that area, then are you allowed to make progress without worrying about that first step!!

I see a lot of effort in this..although I could honestly say "Graphics suck, steering is hard, I can't zoom out, I keep getting stuck on trees, my car spins out of control when I hit a bush, it is hard to shoot, I can't do this, I can't do that, wah wah wah.." :), but hey, we all need to learn from reviews right? Well, because this is an unfinished game and was purposely posted to show its potential, then I'm gonna throw all the negative notes out the frickin window.

I was completely amazed about the 3d building affects that you did. The helicopter view gave some good camera points/
I also liked the fact that stealing the car, the camera went up a little, and as I go faster it goes up even more. The pure GTA way.

I just jumped a taxi and I was on a taxi mission....don't get ahead of yourself, though it was neat how people highlight when they need a taxi.

Remember, it is the engine you should consider first before you can begin putting things together.

Here's a nice general idea:

1. Build the engine using just your guy on a blank page. So that way you can ensure all the possibilities of controlling your character flawlessly. Weapons, jumping, and the clipping procedures.

2. Next, are the cars. You might need to provide a list with different results for each vehicle, then test them out for bugs and for improvements.

3. Then you place in the crowd. Reactions, behavior, what they do, random carjacking? Things that you would normally see in the real world. All possibilities. Them running from a gun was great.

4. Now you are going to build the environment. That's pretty much self explanitory.

5. Provide a line or loop procedure for the cars, to ensure they operate like they do in Liberty City...(or whatever it's gonna be) Stoplights, stopping for people, crashing, whatever!!

6. Then your missions should always always be last...because all you have to do is just add points in random locations of the map for each event to happen.

Then of course there's ironing out stuff...things that I have not mentioned.

I do not know much about coding at all, but I would ensure you that I have a basic principled laid out for your disposal.....your welcome :)

I really want to see this happen, because A. Kid's can play this game without buying the actual thing lol and B. it is for your benefit that you can code for future gaming that you can provide entertainment for me :D

So...in the sum of this amazing review, doing one thing at a time is the moral to this whole damn thing lol...

Happy Coding!!

Liquid

Very liquidy. You have the chord progression at a nice push. Loving the beat and it's at a nice steady pace. The one thing that is getting in the way is that the shuffle is a wee bit loud. Other than that, this is very chill, exactly how liquid should be :)

I voted 5 to help with the motivation in finishing it.

Liquidity

Oh finally some liquid dnb. I was going through the DNB genre section and most of them don't even have a clue what drum and bass is all about. This is my first time seeing a liquid tune on NG. I stopped coming here because a lot of people here can't appreciate dnb (even my peers which saddens me).

Above all else, I enjoy this.

Jenni-Harry4eva3 responds:

I understand the feeling. Seems like I'm the only one appealing to those who understand Liquid for what it is, and Drum 'n' Bass in general? Lol. Really? First time? Well.. I've been making Liquid for quite some time now haha. Check out my other tunes if you'd like, yeah?

Also, more on www.soundcloud.com/jonnyjay_dnb

Cheers!

Good Shit

Although I'm not a big fan on hip hop (not saying I don't like), this stands out very nice. It has good composer (song structure and orchestra work) and I'm loving the ambients and pads in the background.

Just to work and poke into my curiosity, are you by any chance using a condenser mic? I'm thinking that either you did the filter sound on purpose or its as it. I think that the color of the vocals would have done it much more justice.

Either way

VicTheRapper responds:
